About Us

Established in the erstwhile Madras Province by the Late KarraDakshinamurthy in the year 1939, Karra and Company has grown to be one of the most reputed firms in the Southern region of the country. Over the 8 decades that we have been in operation, we have accumulated an immense base of knowledge and experience in the various facets of the profession being Accountancy, Auditing, Taxation, Corporate Affairs, and Management & Consultancy. We have believed in building core competencies from within and have a highly skilled and trained staff adapting to changes, developing new skills, systems and procedures.The articled clerks go through a structured program before they are deployed to clients’ office for purposes of audit or other assignments. As a result of this, over the past 8 decades, several hundreds of our articles clerks have successfully completed the Chartered Accountancy Course and have been placed highly in prestigious Industrial & Manufacturing companies, Banks, Trading Houses, and Consultancy firms.

The firm currently comprises 7 Partners, 2 Qualified Assistants, and over 20 Articled Assistants. The partners, between themselves have experience of nearly 200 years in the above facets, and each partner has specialized in at least two of the above areas.
